With whimsical staging by director Richard Cotovsky and a cast of players sporting mostly authentic middle class contemporary British accents, How to Disappear Completely and Never be Found unfolds as a searing indictment of the foibles of modern society so filled with dehumanizing rituals, long working hours and electronic devices that render personal communication obsolete.
We meet Charlie (Carlo Lorenzo Garcia) as he is in the midst of a physical and emotional breakdown instigated by the death of his mother and all the corporate pressure from long hours doing marketing. Garcia is wonderful as the British middle class everyman with hints of Willy Loman. Garcia’s performance was deeply rooted in truth as he exhibits the neurotic foibles of a man at his wits end. Garcia navigates the action never fully realizing where reality and fantasy begin and end. We empathize with Charlie as the pressures mount and he disintegrates. Garcia wonderfully delivers a cynically funny monologue about what he could do–but doesn’t as his world falls apart. Garcia’s performance alone justifies seeing this show!

How to Disappear Completely is a song by the glish rock band Radiohead from their fourth studio album, Kid A (2000). It was produced by the band with their producer, Nigel Godrich, and was released as a promotional single in the US, Poland and Belgium.
Radiohead wrote How to Disappear Completely in mid-1997 during the tour for their third album, OK Computer (1997). The title derives from Doug Richmond's 1985 book How to Disappear Completely and Never Be Found. How to Disappear Completely is an acoustic ballad backed by orchestral strings and guitar effects. Radiohead recorded demos in various studios before recording it at their Oxfordshire studio in January 2000. The following month, the strings were recorded and performed by the Orchestra of St John's in a church near the band's studio, arranged by the multi-instrumtalist Jonny Grewood on an ondes Martot.
How to Disappear Completely was included on the special edition of Radiohead: The Best Of (2008). The song and its isolated strings track were included on the compilation Kid A Mnesia (2021).
According to the guitarist Ed O'Bri, How to Disappear Completely was inspired by the RDS performance and the stress the band members, especially Yorke, expericed on tour.
