When writing your own songs, you'll probably want to change the order in which you play the 4 chord progressions for each part of the song. Experiment with different ordering for verse, chorus, bridge and solo sections. Only you know what sounds good for your song. However don't be afraid to try new things. As an example, try different strumming patterns. You don't have to stay with just those four chords either. You can place it on the 3 lowest strings and on the A, D, and G strings. The X symbol means that the string should not be played.
It can be played with 2 different fingerings. With 2 or 3 fingers. You can only place 2 fingers but you will have to extend the index and ring fingers to make 2 bars.
