Lean that index finger back to the 1 string, and now they can play the guitar G7 chord - a baby version of it!
How To Read A Guitar Chord Diagram
These little chords are great for teaching kids how to read chords when starting out. First, the tiniest and easiest of C chords. The index finger presses fret 1 of string 2, just as this same finger will do in the ordinary full C chord.
If you want them to try F (I usually postpone this chord for a very long time), then this 3-string option is one of the easiest of the F chords.
It may take a long time before this little chord sounds decent, because the finger action seems contorted compared to other chords - a flat first finger barred across 2 strings, and then a hooked second finger that must press down string 3 without touching those first 2 strings... WEIRD!

These tiny guitar chord fretboards for songs may be smaller, but they are uncluttered and easy to decipher, even for brand-new beginning musicians. (If you wish to draw your own chords for your guitar students, try these blank chord sheets .)
Notice that the chords are grouped in families, with likely guitar chord progressions in each row - the I, IV, and V or V7 chords.
If your kids are having a hard time relating fretboard charts to the actual guitar neck, you might want to try giant-sized printable guitar chord charts ...

Like some of you, I've been playing the piano since early childhood, and have added a few other instruments along the way, plus an interest in arranging and composing music. So my goal is to draw guitar chords like this using a json file, the number of chords I should create is 924 so there's no way I can do it mannually.
What I have is an array of numbers comma separated (look into position) I am definitely not using fingerings (that's the finger you should use, basically it's a number on top of the circles)
Basic Chords In C Major Chord Diagram On Guitar
This is challenging because each chords have several position and some of them are on fret 5 or more so I should indicate which fret we're drawing rather than draw a whole guitar every time.
Second issue is I don't know where exactly I should start and how to handle that correctly, I would love to implement everything in React or Python and then generate a bunch of imgs and use them in my app, this is what I'm comfortable with. I was also thinking about js and css but really how can I write a code that put a circle on that specific place based on a number.
I'm not looking for code, just some links where I can start my research, now I am kinda stuck, please let me know if you need more infos.
Guitar Chords Stamp Chord Print 1pc Drawing Grid For Beginner Guitar Plastic
This may not be the answer you are expecting for since I don't know anything about guitars and guitar chords. Please take a look.
You could start with a basic grid image, knowing the size of each square in your grid would make it quite easy to iterate over and place circles/other markers at specific points and then save the updated version of the image to a new location.

For placing markers, setup constants for width and height respectively, and then multiply by your position variables for each cord (or something to that effect).

Chord finders show you how to play a chosen chord name/quality in several shapes and positions on the neck. Simply select your chord type, along with a root note, and watch it appear as a shape (or several shapes) on the fretboard. In short, this kind of tool is about starting with a chord name and being able to visualise and analyse the different ways it can be formed on the fretboard.
The Best Guitar Chord Software & Chord Tools On The Web
One of the newer chord finders and by far the slickest and easiest to use for basic chord finding. Simply select your root and chord type from the blocks below the virtual fretboard and use the prev and next buttons above to cycle through several chord shapes/positions. You can also choose whether to use note or interval labels on the chord.
A nice additional feature is the arpeggio button, which shows you how these chord shapes form part of an arpeggio pattern right across the neck.
The only chord chart I've found with finger positions, note names and intervals all on the same diagram. A wealth of voicings and positions for every chord imaginable, colour coded intervals, a useful chord structure diagram and neck-wide roadmap for your chosen chord (great for learning arpeggios).

This tool is for those who want a deeper, more comprehensive understanding of the available shapes and associated patterns for a given chord name.
JGuitar's Chord Search function allows you to simply type in the chord sequence you want, separated by commas, and it will display them all on the same page in a traditional chord chart style.
Chord namers, sometimes called reverse chord finders, tell you the name of the chord shape you enter on to the virtual fretboard. This is useful when you want to transcribe your chord shapes using symbols (e.g. Cmaj7, Cm9, C7sus4) rather than charts. More broadly, this type of tool can be thought of as starting with a shape and then being able to analyse the musical elements and theory that shape represents.
What Chord Is This??
Especially useful and novel features such as colour coded intervals/notes and the context function, which allows you to select an external root to put the selected chord shape in a preferred context (e.g. depending on what the bass is playing). There's also a chord tone map beneath the virtual diagram (colour coded in the same way) to help you visualise how the chord is theoretically structured. You can select any of the available inversions for the same shape in a table below the diagram.
I punched in some very unusual chords on this app and it recognised and named them all perfectly. This is one of the most sophisticated, feature-rich, yet accessible chord naming tools out there. Excellent for quick and accurate chord naming and analysis.
Another mention for Oolimo as a very accurate and intuitive chord namer, with advanced supplemental features, such as learning how the chord you've selected could be theoretically extended. One novel feature of this particular app is the ability to select up or down to transpose the chord to different roots/positions and then use the notes/intervals button to toggle your fingering labels.

Inversion selections are also available below the diagram, depending on the chord context you want. There's also a notation stave, alternate tuning options and the ability to play the chord you've mapped out as audio. You can also save and compare different shapes, as a way of moving between and analysing different shapes (e.g. for chord progressions)

Knowing how to play chords is one thing, but can you identify chords as they're played? This is a powerful ear skill that, if given enough practice, will allow you to transcribe entire songs by ear. Here's
