We simply added a pre-wired push clamp terminal for the pickups and ground connections to our standard kit. The wires of the pickups etc. are simply plugged into the prewired terminals and the complete soldering work is eliminated. Due to the clearly arranged terminal row, it is almost impossible to wire something wrong, and the exchange should be relatively quick and easy even for inexperienced hobbyists. Except for the additional wiring terminal, the kit is absolutely identical to the standard soldering kit.
This Prewired Kit fits into all HH-Strats with two splitable humbuckers. Some know the circuit from the Blacktop Strat. In position two and four both humbuckers are splitted, so that either the two inner or the two outer coils are active. The sound reminds to a Tele. This results in many new application possibilities. The other three positions are all unsplit, Neck, Neck/Bridge, Bridge. This kit works as described only in combination with splitable humbucker.
The kit is suitable for a H-H pickup assembly (S-Single Coil, H-Humbucker). When mixing pickup manufacturers, out of phase problems may occur due to different winding directions and magnetic polarities of the humbuckers.
