Guitar is OK for a beginner. Theres only one inlay dot at the 7th fret a beginner would want more. Apart from that a good quitar, built with a good quality. Sound is good and much better than the cheap acoustic guitars. Definitely worth the price.

Gleich nach dem 1.Auspacken und Anspielen kamen echt nur gute Schwingungen auf! Alles in allem, mußich gestehen-kamen nur gute Pluspunkte zum Vorschein, die ja sind schnell erklärt sind:Vor allem nur gute Sounds- rein akustisch, wie elektrisch, die elegante, gelungene Optik, die gute, Kombination von klassischen+bewährten Hölzern, die Größe(d.h.trotz Jumbo-Form:normale Western-Maße!)und das schöne Handling ebenso!Ein weiterer positiver Aspekt war die Tatsache, daß ich mit dem Hals sofort gut zurecht kam, da ich meist doch eher elektrische Gitarren benutzte.

Anfangs war große Verunsicherung bei der Bestellung ob diese Gitarre für unter 200 Euro überhaupt einen schönen Klang haben kann? Und dann auch gleich mit Tonabnehmer, Equalizer und Perlmutt Inlays?

Antwort: Ja, kann sie und das sogar mit einem überraschend gutem Ergebnis. Der Ton ist sehr klar und warm, was bei einer Jumbogitarre auch wünschenswert ist! Die Bässe und die Mitten kommen sehr schön heraus, wobei dies nicht heißen soll, dass die Höhen untergehen. Die Verarbeitung ist über dem Preisniveau gut! Saubere und Punktgenaue Verarbeitung spiegeln das Instrument wider. Der Equalizer lässt sich gut regeln und ist klar strukturiert, wobei der Volumendrehregler etwas zu klein ausgefallen ist.

Fazit: Die Harley Benton HBJC503CEQ brauch sich vor Jumbogitarren im Preisbereich 300-400 Euro nicht zu verstecken. Das Instrument hat eine schöne Klangfarbe und eine über dem Preisniveau gute Verarbeitung. Gesamt: 5 Sterne und eine Kaufempfehlung!

Nachdem ich mir für 111, - die 12saitige von Harley Benton geholt habe und damit echt zufrieden war, hatte ich bei der Jumbo für 159, - schon einige Erwartungen gestellt. Doch die Ernüchterung traf mich schwer. Beim Auspacken bemerkte ich sofort das sehr leichte Gewicht, das Finish welches wie Plastik wirkte und einige Mängel, welche mich glauben ließen, man habe mir eine Gitarre aus dem verbilligten B-Stock geschickt.

Habe sie nur mit den Werksaiten getestet und muss sagen, dass sie ausreichend klingt wenn man eine Anfängergitarre sucht. Die Tiefen haben ein wenig gefehlt und durch die hohe Saitenlage ist ein Greifen im 12. Bund sehr anstrengend. Könnte man aber sicherlich noch einstellen.

Um das Volumen zu testen, habe ich sie mit einer 12saitigen Harley Benton und einer Westerngitarre von ESP für 250, - verglichen. Die Jumbo steht der Lautstärle im Wesentlich in nichts nach, überragt diese jedoch auch nicht. Von einer Jumbo erwarte ich hier mehr.

Bedell

Vielleicht hat die große Vorfreude mich zu viel erwarten lassen. Aber ich kann diese Gitarre einfach nicht weiterempfehlen. Insgesamt wirkt sie einfach zu billig und plump verarbeitet.

Fazit: Harley Benton steht meines Erachtens nicht für billige Artikel. Mit meiner 12saitigen HB bin ich durchaus zufrieden. Auch kenne ich den Sound von HB Half Stags, welcher sehr überzeugend ist.
