Here at , we loved it, and definitely weren't alone. The video has garnered millions of views since.

Burls Art then moved onto building a Telecaster out of 1, 200 colored pencils, and though I'm sure most of us would be more than happy to watch all of our favorite guitar models get this treatment, there's more to this YouTuber's plans. Last week, he released a video showing the creation of an entirely new guitar—one with a water-like feature you've probably never seen before.
Bluegill Resin Buckeye Burl River Epoxy Telecaster
Burls Art starts his process by cutting a two-inch thick piece of quilted maple in half and turning their live edges to face one another. The space between those two pieces is filled with a quarter-inch of blue-tinted epoxy resin and then clear resin on top of that, which results in a guitar that looks like distinctly like a river canyon.
Burls Art designed the body himself, making modifications and changes to the Telecaster mold he started with, and outfitted it with a single Seymour Duncan Stag Mag bridge pickup (so as not to conceal more of the water's design). It's married to a Warmoth Custom Telecaster neck.

Be sure to check out the video above and subscribe to Burls Art if you like what you see. As he mentions in the video, colored pencils and epoxy resin river guitars are really just the beginning.
