Through ash body. 4 in stock. 4/5 reviews. https://www.bax-shop.co.uk/electric-gui ... nchorpoint I was looking at the Fazley guitars before I purchased my Jack & Danny tele.
I have this Baja Fender knockoff that I got at Guitar Center used for around 50 usd. This thing can take a pounding, and doesn't sound half-bad. My buddy who plays guitar exclusively played it and was floored at the price. If you're in the states, Guitar Center is going out of business and the first things they're trying to get rid of are stuff like this. You could do a lot worse than a $50 Baja.

I really don't know but currently I'm playing a second hand Squire Bullet which I put Irongear rails into and I prefer playing it to the Fender Strat hanging next to it. Absolute bargain of the last 10 years for me.
Maybe better tool calibration and tolerance control at manufacture might have improved setup. Obviously a rushed production when it comes to assembly. A slightly shallower neck pocket might resolve the saddle issue. Replacing the saddles with six smaller Strat style saddles or smaller Tele style might work better.
On the other hand. After upgrading a guitar of this price, it might be a better option to spend a bit more and get an Harley Benton TE-52. These have a significantly better electronics and hardware and hopefully better quality control that is often associated with larger brands with greater production.
Jet Guitars Js 800 Review
Considering the price, the quality of the hardware and electronics might be expected. A solid base to start upgrading once the saddle and neck issue is resolved. Okay for a beginner prepared to tweak the setup and playability.
Once the neck and saddle issue is resolved and a hardware and electronics upgrade, this might be a keeper. On the other hand, If you’re not into setting up and tweaking, look elsewhere.

Or a Squier Bullet Tele. Around £130, but you can always get them cheaper as B-stock..and this one was mine;

Great guitar for the money, twangy. Ah, pre relic'd, nice. I'd apply a black marker pen to the chip.
I got a bullet Strat when they were £80 new at Argos, no complaints really. I wore the frets out in no time, that's the only thing.

TBH I don't think you can get a decent electric guitar for under £300 now and really if I was going to buy another and I had the money I'd probably be looking to spend £500
I think if you are a beginner to guitar and want to buy your first guitar then go for a cheap one by all means, some play fairly well but as you progress you'll noticed the sound quality between low and mid range guitars. Generally speaking you gets what you pay for.

Ive been offered pretty much a new gibson sg in cash for her, by a friend who in the past has played huge arenas, he knows his shit!
There are some great guitars out there, some lesser known brands, that don't break the bank, but are putting out quality instruments, because they don't want to be lesser known.

Also, a large part of the market that was overlooked in the past. And brand loyalty and reputation sells.
When I first started playing guitar I had a different opinion, but as time as gone on I've developed let's say a better ear for quality of sound. I've seen videos comparing Epiphones with Gibsons for example, and I have to agree with you Vurt the Epiphones are great value for the money, and you when you do a price comparison between the two the price difference does not always add up, however that's just the way it is. There is no doubt in my mind that every Epiphone I've heard in a comparison with a Gibson the Gibson always comes out on top, maybe not always so much better to justify the price but if you want a better guitar I mean a real quality sounding guitar you are in my opinion really going to need to spend at least £300.
