Drake Bell entered the Hollywood scene in 1994 at 7 years old when he appeared on an episode of ABC's Home Improvement.
He continued to appear on other shows, such as ABC's The Drew Carey Show and NBC's Seinfeld.Bell was also in movies like Jerry Maguire (1996) and High Fidelity (2000).

The actor started gaining more attention on Nickelodeon's The Amanda Show from 1999 to 2002. Two years later, the network gave him a starring role on Drake and Josh as Drake Parker.
Like his character on Drake and Josh, Bell is also a musician. He released his first two albums, Telegraph and It's Only Time, while filming the show.
Following the end of Drake and Josh in 2007, Bell appeared in movies such as Superhero Movie (2008), College (2008), and Rags (2012).

After Drake and Josh wrapped in 2007, Cosgrove starred on her own Nickelodeon show, iCarly. The show ran for six seasons from 2007 to 2012.

The High School Nation tour made its second stop at Akins on Nov. 1 with even more attractions than it’s last stop in 2015. The organizers of the event turned the campus parking lot into a mini music festival with live music on two stages, activity booths and lots of freebies provided by the many sponsors of the tour. The sponsors included Taki’s, Truth, Sparkling Ice, Guitar center, Hollister, Ernie ball, and In-N-Out they had plenty of booths to entertain students. HSN made sure there was never a dull moment with live music playing from the beginning of A-lunch until the end of B-lunch. The Taki’s crew helped hype up the crowd with a dance floor and music. Students reacted immediately and jumped on stage to show off their dance moves with the Taki’s dance instructor. The games included name that song, pass the tennis ball to another person with just your chin and chest, and other fun games. Sparkling Ice gave out free drinks to students, and made vinyl record art by spinning the record with a machine and applying paint to it to create decorative art that students could take home. Guitar Center set up several stations with instruments such as guitars, drums, bass guitars, and keyboards that students could try out. In-N-Out Burger had a prize wheel where students could win free fries, sodas, milkshakes, and even full meals. The live music consisted of singer Heather LaRose who is also an actress for the hit TV series Teen Wolf, singer and dancer Kerri Medders, singers Milo & Dom, singer Rime Salmi, the band Nikki’s Wives, and even Drake Bell from the famous TV series Drake & Josh on Nickelodeon. HSN gave Akins students an exhilarating experience that definitely won’t be forgotten.
