Guitar Tab Creep Radiohead

Guitar Tab Creep Radiohead

Yorke says this is about being in love with someone, but not feeling good enough. He describes the feeling as, “There’s the beautiful people and then there’s the rest of us.”

This song has a lot of feelings and I think that is one of the main reason why I love this song the very first time I heard it. I specially love the bridge part of the song, the one where the lead singer screams his heart out! Full of emotions!

Distinct sound of sliding from G note (6th string) to the 7th fret is the important part of the song. Although the song only has 4 chords, it is important that you do that slide.

Creep Guitar Tab, Radiohead

There are 2 ways you can play this song. If you are playing along (for pleasure using an acoustic guitar), you can get away with just plain old 4/4 strumming of those 4 chords.

If you are learning this song with a complete rock band, better to study the main guitar riff of the song. The main guitar riff is the one you hear on the intro. That same riff and plucking/picking pattern is also the one used in the verses.

Each chord will start with the root not in the E string. You arpeggiate the first 3 notes downward. That’s up to the D string.

You then go back and do the same for the next 3 string, this time starting in the A string (D note). You then arpegiate upward starting at the B string. The last note for the first bar is the G on the octave note found in the D string.

The next chord is B major. You may do the same pattern as in G major. Same goes for C major and Cminor but with a little variation.
